GCC Cyber Security Summit set to take place in Abu Dhabi this September

UAE – The GCC Cyber Security Summit is set to open in Abu Dhabi on 13 September with additional official and industry support now confirmed.

Penetration of national and company security, criminal fraud and identity theft are big business worldwide, among a shadowy fraternity that is only growing in power and size.

The summit, which takes place in Abu Dhabi at the Beach Rotana from 13-16 September 2015, will specifically bring together key international and regional experts to examine regional threat perceptions, risks and solutions – they will assess how attacks on critical infrastructure have been and should be handled – above all, they will discuss how best to ensure secure government and business continuity.

UAE nationals will join the ‘Young leaders in cyber security’ event chaired by Eman Al Awadhi, Security Compliance Operations at Du, along with Adel Ibrahim Al Housani, Head – Information Security, IT Design & Development Department,  Dubai Customs.

Key Speakers from Abu Dhabi Government, Dubai Customs, Du Telecom, King Fahad Medical City, KSA, Arab Advisor’s Group, King’s College London, International Cyber Security Alliance, International Cyber Security Alliance (ICSPA), and other experts to discuss in detail threats to the UAE and the region from so-called ‘Darknet’ and from regional terrorism.
